Welcome

Hi, I'm Jule (Dip.Couns. M.A.C.A Level 1, DipEdSt), I'm a fully registered and insured counsellor and a member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). I have taken advanced study majors in Relationship Counselling & Conflict Resolution, Abuse Counselling, and Expressive Therapies and hold certificates in Trauma-Informed Care & Practice, Mindfulness in Therapy and Working with Mental Health. In addition, I completed 12 months of study with the IFS Institute to become an IFS-Informed counsellor in both Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO) which are transformative psychotherapy frameworks that form the foundation of my approach to counselling.
Holistic and integrative counsellor and mentor, Gold Coast

From my healing to yours

My journey is founded from my own lived experience of navigating neurodivergence, grief, attachment, relational PTSD, and c-PTSD. My personal healing includes many years of unpacking and transforming long held patterns and beliefs, deconstructing identity and learning to deeply understand my core self.

These experiences, along with my professional counselling knowledge and skills inform my approaches. I take a non-pathologising view, with a grounded understanding of the fundamental differences and connectedness of what it means to be human. There is no ‘one’ right way, none of us are too broken or too much, we are simply the sum of our experiences so far.

My principles are holistic, meaning I integrate whole person techniques, cultivating a deeper connection between mind and body as a source of wisdom and healing. Through this lens, I help you explore your inner world, empowering you to create lasting change in your outer world in alignment with your true self.

If this resonates, I’d love to work with you.

    Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a transformative approach that helps you understand and heal parts of yourself. It recognises that we are made up of multiple ‘parts’ each with their own beliefs, feelings and behaviours. By connecting and integrating these parts, IFS guides you back towards alignment with your true Self. This approach enables you to navigate your inner protective system, nurturing balance and growth in your emotional wellbeing.

Intimacy From the Inside Out (IFIO)

IFIO is a relationship-based approach from a foundation of IFS. The core idea is that by developing a deeper understanding of yourself you are able to build authentic, meaningful connections with others. IFIO encourages you to explore each other’s parts with curiosity, embrace vulnerability, communicate openly and create deeper connections built from a foundation of trust, empathy and mutual respect.

    Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT is an approach to help you manage intense emotions, improve relationships and develop healthy coping strategies. Through a combination of mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance and interpersonal effectiveness skills, DBT aims to build resilience, improve emotional stability and nurture balance.

    Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT)

SFT is a goal-oriented approach that focuses on finding practical solutions to current challenges. It helps you to identify your strengths, resources and successes to build a vision for the future and create actionable steps towards your goals. It encourages a positive, future thinking mindset. This approach is particularly effective for those seeking a collaborative, future driven process.

    Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

    Somatic Awareness & Expression

    Dream Therapy & Interpretation
